Lyons completed renovations of a inpatient wing and outpatient suite at Bon Secours Hospital. These two areas are to provide full patient care services.
August 2009
Lyons completed projects at two Anne Arundel County Elementary Schools. Both projects were fast track and required completion during the summer break.

My Care Express Eldersburg, MD
Lyons has completed a medical care facility for a private doctor's practice in Eldersburg, Maryland. The project was a complete design build interior renovation that includes exam rooms, procedure room, x-ray room, waiting, reception and office space as well as typical medical support areas. This facility will provide a much needed service in an area of Maryland experiencing great economic and residential growth.

MRI Addition @ Bon Secours Hospital
Lyons has completed an MRI suite to Bon Secours Hospital, Baltimore. This will be the second MRI unit at Bon Secours' Baltimore location. Lyons has done numerous projects for Bon Secours over the last 10 years including their first MRI suite. Lyons takes great pride in our relationship with Bon Secours and that their facilities in West Baltimore are a great asset to the surrounding communites.

Cafe James @ Kennedy Krieger Institute
Lyons has recently completed the Cafe James project at The Kennedy Krieger Institute. This project consisted of the removal of office space and the installation of a full kitchen to be used as a teaching aid for the students at the institute.This facility will provide the students a real life environment in which to learn food preperation and service to the public. The new kitchen area is now open to the existing dining area creating not only a training space but also a cafe for employee purchases and dining.

W. Zipprian, President of The Lyons Construction Co., Inc. outlined the
company’s role in the recently completed Cyberknife facility at Sinai
Hospital. As general contractor for this facility housing the second CyberKnife® unit at Sinai Hospital, Lyons
continues a history of medical specialty construction unique to the
area. Zipprian explained that “Our focus is to partner with those
healthcare providers that offer our region the best of the new medical
technology available.” Lyons’ has enjoyed serving construction needs at the LifeBridge Group where Sinai Hospital joins NorthwestHospital, Levindale and Jewish Convalescent to comprise a growing force in Baltimore
healthcare. The CyberKnife® facility offers stereotactic radiosurgery
treatment to inoperable illnesses using technology that did not exist
until recently. Zipprian stated that “Sinai hospital can be proud of
the leadership role they play in medical technology, and we at Lyons
complement them on their foresight.” Stereotactic radiosurgery is a
non-surgical treatment using very focused beams of radiation on small
and previously inaccessible tumors or lesions deep within the body.
